When I heard this, all I could think was...
"Rooonnaaaaldd!" *shakes fist*
What a fantastic memory this brought back.
It is the goal of most, if not all, NES/8-bit remixers to create a track that is true to the era. You have done so with the most accuracy that I have ever seen (or, rather, heard.).
The vocals made this song. I feel like if you altered the instrumentals/audio samples you used to construct the melody I think this has amazing potential. However, it stands up on itself anyways.
Favorite part: 0:43; Bass kicks in and the vocals start singing the most energized verse of the whole piece.
Hope you like the review.
I agree completely with you!
haha that is also my favorite part of the song... at 43 seconds
the bass and vocals mix together quite well at that point :)
I may one day take this project more seriously and add a real melody to it with a synth!
Thanks for the good ideas and great score!
This is the best non-combat remix I have listened to.
Wow, thanks alot!
I really cannot say anything else. It just sounds so excellent.
I felt alot of energy while listening to this. I feel like the chords and style you used did a good job of perveying the idea behind this song.
You deserve an 11 for this.
This was kinda surprising :P But I think the last word at the end of the song is the best part.
yeah i agree it was random when i was saying it hah.. Thanks =) "MOTHERFUCKER!!" Its just out of no where haha.. thanks for the review =)
Thanks for writing this!
People don't usually do a remix of Jenna's theme, but I like it so much that I move my party around just to get to hear during random encounters. 9/10.
By far the best Golden Sun music remix I've seen so far, and I like the part with the short, flat, legato notes; that sets the music up really nicely.
Why thanks! It's surprising how popular this song is, considering it didn't come out exactly right. =) I guess it's just a fun song.
